i'm installing an aftermarker tach and i was wondering if the z24 motors have a direct tachometer signal port on the ECU or ECM?

tach signal is the negative on the coils but there should be one on or in the cluster wiring if u dont want to go into the engine bay

which coil tho, my motor has the 8 plug setup with 2 coils. and its not a post hook up with a wire bolted to it, the coil connections are weather pack connectors. do you know which wire in the main harness is for the factory tach signal?

my bad, didn't mean to post twice, my comp had a bit of a glitch and wouldn't show me that it had posted the first time

probably should look for a wiring diagram for the dash. there should be a wire for the tach behind the speedometer. you might need something else to make it work correctly depending on the tach.
