i beleive all ballasts are the same unless thet are oem hid replacement ballasts but the only thing that is diff is the bulbs when you have hi/lo in the same bulb from the factory, usually when you put hids in a car with hi/lo its hid bulb for lows and halogen bulb for highs all in the same socket... correct me if im wrong

The bixenons have an extra plug from the ballast to the bulbs. There are 2 individual wires which carry power and ground for the light. The other plug has 2 wires which control a little solenoid that changes the angle of the bulb from low beam to high beam. The intensity of the light doesn't change, just the physical position of the bulb inside the housing.

My high low kit has the 2 separate wires and the one big one from the bulb

I'm hoping digital ballasts solve my problem or maybe canbus relays

could you not run a ground for your low beams and try it? it seams like they would ground the same since your running the same ballast for both low and high..if its a ground i would rig up a ground to try your theory out and see what happens

i think two wires only should be coming from the bulb a black and a red.you have two ballasts?hi and lo?i spliced my black wire for the high beam hid to the stock black ground harness or you can ground it to the frame and just run the 12v from your relay or stock harness.hope you understand.

u have to switch 2 wires on my kit it was the blue and white wires. i cut them and spliced them back together the correct way. if ur looking at the plug that came with the kit with the wirs facing tward u and the flat side of the connector to the left its the top and middle wires neding switched i made a lil drawing to help u out http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t186/mike16241/IMAG0006.jpg
