im trying to find out what is the best setup for air compressors. im thinking about an engine driven but dont know how fast they actually are compared to the two 480's or the zenith. ive got the az and it is not very fast in my opinion but being that this is my first bagged truck i have nothing to compare it to. i feel like im getting older waiting for the damn thing to make it to 200 psi.

go with a viar dual pack
best for the money
but if you really want to fill that tank quickly, get an oasis
haha
those things are beasts

That depends on if you like your A/C or not. if your a fabricator, than a EDC is best for the money. York 210 is about $220 all said and done. And it takes less than a minute to fill my 10 gal tank. just my .02 cents.

yea an edc is definately the way to go. I kept my ac and have my edc. But you will need to know how to fabricate to mount the compressor. I have never ran electric compressors in the 3 bagged trucks ive owned so i have nothing to compare it to. It will fill my tank from 0 to 200 in about a minute. It takes a little longer at idle.

the least expensive and simple install with good results is a dual pack viar.
an oasis draws insane amps haha i think its pointless
but if you reaaally want to fill your tank fast
it's definitely smarter to get an edc

ive got access to large 12 volt motors and have some fab skills. i just wasnt sure how much pressure the york was capable of. basically going to build my own oasis if that is what the york compressor is .

A york will easily go to 200psi. I usually run to about 175 though. i don't have fill controls yet and have contiitech bags in the back still. An Oasis is a york 210 comnpressor with a big ass electric motor driving it.

I accidentally left my edc on and had my airlift gauge go all the way around past 200 and back to the 0 pin. So they have no problem pumping to 200
