Dash light problem

Hey has anyone ever have the lights that turn on for the speedo and stuff stop working on them? I did the led mod and they were working fine. I had it sit there for like a month and then I went to drive it and the lights don't turn on when I turn the switch. Which is weird becuase the light that comes on for the milage is one but once I turn on the lights it turns off and everything is black. I have check fuses in both panels and nothing seems to be blown. If anyone has any tips that might help me...thanks

I just totally rewired mine this week...I'm pretty familiar with what should go where and what should have power...I could give you a hand figuring it out if you want. Only problem is that I leave for a ski trip tomorrow morning, so it will have to be next week.

My suggestion - get a bulb that you know works...put two wires on it. Pull the cluster and connect one side of the wire to the pink/black and the other to the pink/blue and see if it works. If not, then it's a fuse. If it does, then you have a prob with the LED conversion you did.

did you check your dimmer? mine is getting a little tempermental and i have to tap it sometimes to get them to come back on. mine's all stock

I looked around for a dimmer, I don't see one on my dash. I might test is out later, I tried looking for a fuse for the gauges. I even went thru ever single one and didn't find one that was shorted out. I might try one day this week and use my voltage meter to see if I am getting power to it.

I know when mine stopped working it was on the running light fuse located in the engine bay fuse box. To check it just turn your running light on and see if they are working. I hope its that simple for you
