jus curious, i tried searching but dont come up with much. its a thought if i ever blow my motor
definitely do-able but pricey swap
LS1's are getting cheaper to find but still more expensive then a standard 350 swap...expect it to cost upwards of 5K or more by the time you are done and that's penny pinching.

I'm planning... and thats a big PLANNING... to do an LS1 swap sometime next year.
My brother has a 04 4.8L LS1 with a comp 228.230 cam, comp 918 springs, ARP bolts all around, texas speed hardened push rods. 28.8lb injectors, and a 4L60E with a 3800 stall and TCI 15x12 trans cooler that he's promised me. More then likely he says he's gonna swap rear ends so I will end up with a ten bolt with 342 gears possibly.
I'm running all the different problems I've already thought of through my head, and I have some ideas for some of them but not sure what I will do about the others.
This forum needs a V8 Swap thread with lots of pic's....

To me LSx engines are like the SR20 of american engines. They try to put them in everything.
They are great engines, but for the money you could have one hell of a SBC or SBF.
