cutting a hood

i just want to know the best way to cut a hood. i am going to finally put the newer style hood on but need to cut it first... any tricks to make it easier

measure alot!! use a cardboard template to cut out first then test fit....
dont use cut-off wheels for your main cuts, it will warp the hood from the heat.... use stuff like a bodysaw or even a jigsaw with a fine blade....

yeah i am going to need one at some point of time cuz the hood setup is a no go in mass but just bored and want to do something to it
