cut it to the stock exhaust measurement and make yourself shorty headers and redo your pipes from there. Thats what I'm gonna do to mine got a 85 720 exhaust hangs to low and my headers hits alot of things in the engine bay SHOOTS!!!!!!!!

Never had good experience with OBX shit. Better to spend the money for thorleys, knowing they will work and fit like a glove.

Yeah OBX's stuff fits worse than pacesetters header. Also, its clear to me you've never owned a pacesetter header because they don't rust out like everyone says they do. I had one for over 5 years my friends have had them for longer and my friends 73 240z has had one on his car since the mid 80's. Its just some old wives tail. peace.
ive had my pacesetter header goin on about seven years and still goin good

I had a pacesetter on my 720 for years never had a problem,i did hang a little low but i just cut some of it off and tucked it up against the floor.i also have pacestetters on my 96 SS Camaro and they work fine

from what I hear the header will fit the mounting holes are the same but the exhaust ports are a lil off but not much as far as fitting the engine compartment I'm not too sure and pace setters are decent besides hanging low most people complain because they buy the ceramic coated ones and after awhile they discolor a lil and everyone thinks that the coating has worn off when in fact it just turns blue from the heat.

So does 86-89 hb header fit on a 96 hb? I can't seem to find a header for mine

Bump... does anybody have a straight answer? Do the exhaust ports and the stud holes of the z24i engine match the ka24e engine? I am well aware the pacesetters bolt right up and work, but for the same price i'd rather have a stainless steel header than a traditional steel contruction.
