like the title says, im so f'n pissed, doin about 20 mph and i shift into 2nd, and snap, i felt some vibrations comin from it the day before but didnt think nothin of it cause it wasnt bad, and then right before it snapped it got real bad, they dont sell the yoke by it self, u have to buy the whole drive shaft, 750 just for the part at the dealer, no salvage yard around here has one, closest one is in texas, 200-300 bucks used on the internet , virginia personal property tax(1000 buck approx.) i gotta pay before 12-6, christmas coming up, i mean GD just pile the shit up more on my plate, sorry just had to vent a bit, truck is an 05 and its got just under 110,000 miles

shop called, they can machine a new yoke and have it installed for 183, but the rubber around the center bearing was cracked and he thinks the vibration not matter how slight caused enough play to crack the yoke, so hes gonna replace the front and rear universal joints , the center bearing and the rear yoke for 377, so not as bad as i thought it was gonna be but just still to damn close to christmas

I don't know what is up with the spicer joints Nissan is using since 05 they are not getting very good life. I have been putting in aftermarket u-joints with zerk fittings and telling my customers to lube every 15k.
