okay so i got me a 720. it has some bugs and im needing help. also have some numerous other questions.

it has some wiring issues so ill start with those questions first

1. how much and where can i get the whole headlight switch on the steering column?
2. where can i get a wiring harness for the tailights that connects to the actual truck's wiring harness?

now heres some other random questions about it.

3. if i bag it would it be the same as a nissan hardbody with the torsion brackets up front?
4. any specific parts or info to bag it and lay frame?
5. can i lay frame with 14's or 16's and have a decent low pro tire and not have to cut my fenders?

this is all the questions i have for now. ill have more as i start tinkering. i have a vacuum leak that i need to sort out i may need help so ill post pics in this thread.:D

Congrats on the 720 purchase. To lay frame youll have 2 issues that i know of.
1. the down pipe will have to be raised up above the frame so it does'nt get destroyed.
2. the trans. crossmember will also have to be raised & or a custom one will have to be made.
My 720 is dropped 4 inches & those 2 parts drag the most.

Well im redoing the exhaust with a header nd pipe tucked up from the frame i guess ill buy extra steel for the crossmember. Im debating just bagging the back so i can still daily it

bagging the back to daily? what difference does it make if the whole things bagged?

get some damn money together and pay me to lay it out and BD it!

if i bag just the back then i wont have to worry about cutting the front fenders and moving shit around. i dont think i want it body'd until i get a different car to drive daily. but in feb. ill talk to you about baggin it. right now i need about 250 bucks to get all the little bugs fixed and leaks.

plus bagging just the back would be cheaper

kinda sort of.. less work and cheaper if you keep stock arms. aftermarket arms make things more expensive, rear more work things add up cause no matter front or rear you need tank and comps.

yeah. may end up bagging the whole thing if i have enough money. i just figured the back would be easier and cheaper. i estimated about 800

just save your money and build a whole frame. less then $200 in metal frame alone then another $200 for 4 link hand make some bag brackets

you can lay frame on 14s. thats how mine is. you still have to cut and relocate several things to be able to do it. and your gonna have to do something with the gas tank

this was mine last year at a show. and it looks pretty much the same now plus a few things here and there

i just got 14's just like yours. im going to paint them and get some dog dishes. i need to find out how small of i tire ill need to lay out all around without cutting wheel wells. ill probably put the gas tank in the bed.

those are 185-75-14 there arent tom many sizes smaller than that.
my gas tank is in the bed aswell but im using a spun aluminum tank

were you able to keep your front wheel wells?

dirty
10-15-2010, 12:15 AM
no they were cut out when i got it. i cut a little more and put some tailer fenders in there for wheel wells

minitrucker6669
10-15-2010, 12:22 AM
oh. i dont want to have to do any cutting under the hood.

10-15-2010, 12:39 AM

i dont want to deal with the hassle of moving and relocating shit. its going to be a daily driver so i wont have days on end.

i know how that is. i drive my truck everyday, and right now its all my family of 3 has. i have the back bagged. i also did away with the booster and fliped the clutch master arround, so when i get ready to do the front i just need some tubs.

i figure if i get them and get some low pro's i should be fine.
