got an aftermarket tachometer installed recently and was wondering what the factory redline was for the z24i (its a 1987 5 speed if that matters)

I dont know what the factory redline is but I installed one in a buddies '89 with a z. We pegged it to 6700rpm drifting it! Haha! You shouldn't go that far at all. Way out of the powerband but we didn't care, it was a beater. I know the sohc ka's in our truck is 6000. Although the powerband peaks at 4800rpm.
