oh man, the 22, on the lowered stance looked so much better.

why didn't you just get some tires with more sidewall, that woulda made your ride a lot nicer?

Thats why it was rough lowered the wrong way with too small of a tire. The only reason its way better nowis cause of biggef sidewalls and more suspension travel

time to start cutting if your hitting your bump stop or run air bag load levelers

09-01-2010, 03:06 AM
a $50 set of airshocks would have let you remove the bump stops and GREATLY improved your ride quality

Good god I love the way rockstars look on lowered trucks.
There pretty played out on lifted trucks, but remove those ugly center caps and throw them on a low truck and you have just made sex on wheels.

Nice truck though. Those Nismos must have cost you a pretty penny.

i know i was planning on taking the stars out of the center caps, but never got around to doing it

I'm digging the black billet grille.. good taste :p hahaha.. I'm a fan of the NISMO wheels but what size tire are you running? Looks kind of funky with that set up... I've been wanting to get a set of XD wheels and now I see those look freaking nice on our trucks!

Did you fill in the tailgate burger holes yet?

EasyE3

im running 285/60/18 toyo a/t open country's. yea i think it looks kinda funny too. i was told it was suppose to be level with the lift but it didnt turn out that way. i didnt see how it would either. but i think if i took the 2" block out the back and put a 1" it would look alot better and level. and no i didnt fill in the burger hole on the tailgate, i just painted my emblem black and stuck it back on there. i love the black billet grilles too. i think it would look sick if i painted the nismos black too. actually, i might be selling the grill soon, if your interested?

Oooh.. should have gone with a higher sidewall but you're about to rub if you aren't already. I'm a centimeter off from rubbing my front tires. To make the 285/75s work I needed to trim metal unless I would have gone with hwy radials. Which 3/2 lift did you get? I'm running a 2" spacer up front only and it sits level. I have a PRG 1.5" Billet kit for the rear if you want to swap parts. Maybe I'm starting to go blind but I do not see the rear burger on that truck, lol. Anyway, this is why I dig the black billets :p Can't even tell from my sig.

your truck sits level with just a 2" spacer up front? i have the 2" spacer up front that bolts on top on the spring and a 2" block on the back and there is only a 1" difference??? i thought i might have to take the 2" out the rear and put a 1" but if i only need the front to be level i may just do that?

LA QUEEN

Hmmm... I think I have an idea. Even with the blocks on the rear, the lift depends on the condition of your leafs. This truck has never towed anything so they still have a lot of arch to it. Another thing I can think of is common sense would be your truck is heaver then mine. CC vs KC. I'm not 100% sure though because my bed is heavier then yours. One thing I remember from the shop saying is depending on the construction/material of your spacers and blocks are made out of, it may take a few miles for it to sit or settle. Anyway, I had the 2" billet spacer up front installed, had it aligned and balanced and he sits level. There was no need to install the 1.5" rear blocks. Maybe you can run a shackle instead vs 1" block.

Here's mine after the spacer and new tires. Camera is getting fixed right now so all I have is the cell.

EasyE3
