the hole time this was goin on it was like in slow motion i could tell u how many cows there was on the road at the time where they was on the road and i wish i was asleep now i have to live with the fact that my mom is goin to b broke till this hunk of ford is back on the road and scotty they told me it would buff out but its goin to take them a couple of days to clean the cow shit out from underneath the truck lol

my grandpa hit a cow going 60 in his semi. his truck that he was pulling ended up in front of his semi, you couldnt drive either one after that. my uncle was asleep and went half way through the windshield, came back in and then fell out the door. when he woke up he was looking straight up at another cow. somehow neither one of them was seriously hurt, just minor cuts.

You got lucky. It wouldve been much worse if the semi hadnt hit the cow first.
I dont know what the laws are where you hit the cows but the owner of the livestock might be held liable for the repairs. It's like that in Mississippi. If you own livestock you have a responsibility to keep it contained. The only slack a farmer might get would be if a storm tooks out some fencing or if a motorist drove through the fence line (That happens to us alot. ) The county recently installed a guard rail to just either side of the curve near our house. So far I havnt had to fix a fence at 3 in the morning.

i dont have to pay for the cows cuz the to that i hit one of them got hit by the semi and the one i hit that did the front end damage got up and ran away and it was on open range so the truck driver has to pay for the 2 cows out of the 7 that he hit cuz they died but since it was on open range we have to pay 4 our own vehicle repairs

I've never hit a cow, but I have been in a vehicle that smacked a deer (big buck) doing about 65. Pushed the core support almost all the way back to the firewall on an 84 gmc pickup...totaled that fucker OUT.

well we went out lookin for the cows and there was only 2 of them that died and they was the ones that the semi driver hit so i dont have to pay for anything so its all good and a iend of the family is goin to fix the damage for real cheap

we have alot of wide open spaces in utah so instead on the farmers payin to have a fence put up they made it so that i was open range so if some one hits there cows in the open range area the person that hits the cow has to pay for the cow and the damage to there vehicle but the the one cow i hit was dead already from the semi hitting it and the second cow i hit got up an ran off and when we went lookin for dead cows there was 2 black ones dead and those r the ones the semi hit so we dont have to pay 4 a cow but i am ok as u can tell lol

i had a delivery driver(when i managed papa johns pizza) back in the day hit a cow at 45mph on delivery. his car was basically totalled and the cow just walked off....


same cow got hit by 6 or 7 more cars that day before it was actually injured enough to not get back up.

the truck drive hit both cows that i hit the one that did the worst damage to my explorer was a kinda a cream color and when the semi driver hit the black one the cream color cow was right next to the black one so the black cow took most of the blow from the semi and i got air born off the black cow the cream one ws just gettin to its feet i bet i hit it at like 35 mph but i was real lucky i wasnt in a little car or i would of been pretty messed up
