Have you ever driven an 80's vette? They handle like shit, really bad oversteer, you can't see over the fenders worth a shit at all, The interior is an absolute nightmare. If you are gonna spend that much time on a swap i would pick a different platform. Besides that engine doesn't have the bottom end to really move a 4000lb+ car around. If you are set on the body style, i would go Big Block. Thats just my .02, you've been warned.
Have a good day. :)

that reminds me of tokyo drift when they put the sr20 or w/e it was in the mustang. (gay)
keep it in the family if you get the vette. just my opinion

I'm glad you corrected yourself lol
68 to 82 or (C3) style with some tweeking to the suspension can handle quite well, biggest problems with them are frame rotting or trailing arm bushings/rear wheel bearings both are a pain in the ass job...Also they tend to wear the stub yokes in the diff but unless it's really bad it doesnt make much difference. Big sway bar in the front and install a rear sway bar (was optional on some packages) and some good rubber and they hook up well under about 500hp
The 84 - 96 (C4) style had some changes along the way in interior and with some brake upgrades they handle well.
Depending on which style it is would make a difference to difficulty of doing it, but personally I would keep it GM either way

I actually like the idea of a import motor into a american car, why not do it if you can make the same and at the same time more power than a V8. I have thought about it for awhile and considered selling my race car to do it, but only time will tell.
Also, there is a 1000+whp 2JZGTE powered 67 Camaro in Texas. EVS Motorsports built it and its a bad mother shut yo mouth:D

If you going to go through all the trouble of stroking the RB to a 3.0, you might as well go with a 2JZ and you have the availablity of parts rather than waiting for RB parts to come in from Japan or Australia. RB is agreat motor, but sometimes can be a pain to wait for parts to come in. I go through it all the time and gets old fast.
