s10 owner...nissan fan.

ok...jsut thought i'd make one of these....i'm from south-central NC...as gangsta as that sounds.

my first ride was an 85 regular cab 720, sold it and got my s10, but i have always had a bit of a following with nissan trucks, and i try to stay at least on 1 good forum for them, to kinda keep a check on things and all, a question was asked over on s10forum about bagging a nissan, and someone mentioned NC...which i knew had gone under here recently, and another mentioned this forum, so here i came to take a look, and register.

one of my main plans in coming onboard was to spread the word of my friends hardbody he's trying to sell, to make way for his kid. but since decided against, with the rules of the classified, but i'll definately keep a check on the 720 section, as my friend also has a 85 now himself. cranked torsions, blocks, flat black on pathfinders, although he has silver escalades, and everything to bag it, other than a fuel cell and 4 link..but anyways, just figured i'd explain myself, since i'm an outsider and all, as made obvious by my screename.:D

wow...all these posts and no requests for pics? and i'm feelin the first name basis treatment...comin on a forum, as a noob, how baller is that?! haha. anyways..nothing special about my truck...still stock height on the stock 15's...some fiberglass work on the inside, a little work on the outside, but i still have to use it for a truck, i have a 3/3 sittin up, waitin to go on it, but i'd eventually like to protour it out, tuckin tires on coilovers, fat rear rubbers, and possibly a built, boosted v6, with a 6 speed, and decked out fiberglassed interior.haha.

i'll just link to my truck pics, instead of cluttering up a nissan forum with s10 pics..haha.

(cut open ram air section, was originally filled in solid, and welded up brackets underneath the hood to hold the billet in. anyone familiar with that hood, knows that they have a gay plastic insert that bolts up, and makes it took lame as hell..so i just cut it out, and will probably make it functional ram air one day.)

(welded in the stamped chevrolet emblem, out of an 85? fullsize chevy, 73-87 bodystyle, not exactly sure on the year. got the tailgate for free, before the truck got scrapped...)

that was his 720 heaven...the ext cab was his daily...sold it, and the primer one got sold to a guy..just has the black one now..got in a on road fight with a deer....in the middle of some bodywork, and replacing the front end, and hopefully we'll be respraying it black here soon...this is the one that has the silver escalades, waiting on tires, and then they will be on there i'm sure..he's getting into gokart racing, so the truck may go on the backburner...also has a grant pan on the back, and the tailgate handle was shaved..

a dash we did, although he's scrapping this for a fairlane steel dash, or 59'ish impala dash.
