More power to the ground because a lighter driveline, faster revs for the same reason. I have a lightened flywheel in my hardbody.

I have one in mine. I love it. Keeps me from burning my tires off so much. Having the lead foot that I do, and you get to top speed way faster.

Is this something you can do yourself or a machine shop deal? Or can you just buy one?

someone told me they lost some torque in there 90 240 (same as mine),but the engine felt more responsive.

Machine shops can do them and you can buy them for some cars.

You do not lose torque, you gain it. The lighter the rotating assembly the more TQ you get to the wheels. obviously 10lbs isn't a lot of weight but to a rotating assembly its tons.

people have always argued that youd lose torque because you lose inertia that wants to keep the flywheel and engine spinning, but the only place you lose any torque is the initial torque when you slam it into the next gear, so in this case you get advantages, less stress on the drivetrain when hard shifting and less chance to break the tires loose for if your really concerned about times when racing.

^ I dont know where you think you get less of a chance to break the tires loose. My truck would spin much easier after the flywheel was lightened. Not to mention I could bang all gears till fourth and spin, with a stock KA lightened flywheel and dual friction clutch...
