Hey guys, well i'm finally IN... Also finally starting work on my truck, it's been off the road for a year...
This is what it looked like before

Now all I have left is a bare cab, bonnet, engine and the chassis from the the firewall forward, I sold everything off it and am completely rebuilding it...
This is it dummied up with the sills cut and showing how much 20's it will tuck... I've since sold the doors, guards and wheels...

So far i've picked up a shortbed tub, new Pathfinder guards, hilux diff and hilux hubs/rotors... Next on my shopping list are new UCA's and rims and RE8's so I can set up the 4 link...
But anyway here is the what i've done so far, not much but it's a good start after sitting for a year...

I'll hopefully have the frame welded to the front clip this w/e and put up some more pics...

i knew that orange nav was from logan somewhere... im from alexandra hills.
i just sold a kingcab styleside to a fella in logan somewhere whose buildin a shorty. i think he said he knew that criddy fella.. hes in downtime right?

That's correct mate, it is a toyota grille and bar...
Going back to the standard smoothed front bar this time around tho with a billet grille...
Should get a bit more progress done this w/e, so keep an eye out for updates... Everything will start happening once i finally get my wheels...

dummied up an inch higher to see if i can fit 22's with only a 3" BD, doesn't look promising...

Hey mate, yeh it's a 89-96 Toyota grill with a Nissan badge superglued over where the toyota one used to be... nothing fancy...
Sold now to be replaced with a phantom...
Truck looked good before the BD, Cant wait to see it come together!

Nothing much has happened recently, chassis will be all together this w/e... I bought some second hand spindles and turns out they are lift spindles after i was told they were drop spindles and the guy won't refund my money so that kinda sux... Need to find someone who wants to lift their 2wd and try sell them...

Not much progress recently, I've been working on bagging the rear of my dual cab to sell it, have to hurry up and get it done coz the guy has already put a deposit down on it...
I'm just chasing a diff at the moment, either a nissan one or a toyota 4wd to keep it 6 stud, as soon as i get a diff things will start happening...

yeh i've got some genuine pathfinder guards, also got some 2wd ones, still considering running them to be different... I've got a whole new front end apart from the apron under the bar, they are hard to find!

Well i've bought a brand new front bar and apron, gonna work on smoothing the bar out once I get some more done on my chassis... I've got my front clip attached to my new frame, kind of exciting having a full chassis, got my cab channeled and sitting on the chassis, ready to start making cab mounts...

This is the plate I got machined up with my club logo... I will be using it as part of my chassis, like as a crossmember above my diff or something...

Yeh using my old front clip, was already bagged to lay on 20's so might aswell reuse it... only thing i have to change is i'm gonna remove the strut rods and triangulate the lower control arms coz i partly dragged thru the front mounts of the strut rods...

Just going 76mm/3inches, i don't want it to look out of proportion... I'm not heading to ECC unfortunately coz I can't get time off work but my truck certainly wouldn't be ready for it anyway...

Yeh pretty funny story that, I wasn't telling anyone about it then we had a Downtime bowling night and someone went thru the pics on my phone... haha
Have done a little bit more but not much, got a Merc and a Isuzu to finish bagging for people, then i'll get stuck in...

I am actually hoping to be at hwh with my truck... the other cars/trucks i'm working on are paying for my truck, picked up my 4link the other week and new set of pathfinder doors so things are still happening slowly...

i love the size of the window opening, but its going to be impossible for you to find glass for it!

why don't you just cut the glass. because of the taper of the window it will still close the same at the bottom so you just cut the glass for the top.

I want to cut the glass, I just have no idea how to do it without cracking it... I've been to a couple of glaziers and they won't do it coz they said it will just crack straight away...

The front is actually aired up a bit in the pic but the sill is still on the ground coz the tyres are in a pothole... Don't worry, i've got plenty of camber in the front! lol

I read somewhere that you can grind it down with a belt sander you just have to make sure you don't get too much heat in one spot or the glass will explode. I haven't tried it so I'm not sure if it works.
