3 letter search

Changing Mysql to do 3 letter searches would be nice... for things like irs, pic, 18s and yay :)

very true. forum is set for 3 but mysql is defaulted to 4 im assuming. the tech guys at inmotion said it can be done no problem. i think ill wait for the next update/backup session because theyll have to reboot mysql.

mysql default is 4 so we can't search for hot red ass or something, it's easy to change but does take a reboot. Glad you and them they are willing.

vbulletins default is 4 as well. obviously ive run into this problem once already if i changed it to 3. i guess i just found what i was looking for otherwise and forget to update mysql.
