I just recently installed a bodylift on my 85 720 and all of my shocks are pretty much shot. should i buy longer shocks since i lifted the body up?

The shocks mount to the frame and the axle, so no.

stock shocks cause you didn't change any suspension travel

oh yeah huh? lol i feel like a dumbass. well i want to do a suspension lift as well so i would definitely need longer shocks right? haha
