ive done a few more things to help distinguish between actual member, and spam bots.

anyone else who registers will be forced to fill out some of the personal details about themselves. Location, Vehicle Make & Model, and favorite color are now required. Any current member who updates their profile will also be forced to fill these out.

spam bots have a tendency to use generic details which make them easy to spot and eliminate.

ive looked into it and seems this is an actual person that registers the account, the sets up a program to send out the spam

i can make a lot of stuff happen, but some things just dont work well. i can set it up to where someone has to have X number of posts before they can use the pm feature, but then, people who lurk wouldnt be able to pm me if they had an issue, or pm a seller if they wanted to buy something.

that is the best course of action. if you go to the main forum page and look at the members online, mods are listed in bold, and admins are bold and black. send it to whomever is online and it will be taken care of.

i got 3 or 4 messages about it, but i wasnt online at the time. thankfully, pugz got it wrapped up.
